October 29 – According to the latest report by German Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United has not joined the race to sign Sporting CP’s young forward Rasmus Jákai. The club is currently focusing on bringing in Sporting CP’s head coach Rúben Amorim.
Plettenberg stated that several Premier League clubs, including Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea, are particularly interested in Jákai. He could leave Sporting CP for a fee of between 60 to 70 million euros next summer, with a transfer expected in the summer window.
The 26-year-old Swedish forward has scored 14 goals and provided 4 assists in 13 matches this season, and his current market value according to Transfermarkt is 70 million euros.
