On October 27, in the 11th round of La Liga, Barcelona secured a glorious 4-0 victory over Real Madrid away from home in the El Clásico. This marks the fifth time in Barcelona’s history that they have defeated Real Madrid by at least four goals away from home.
In this highly anticipated El Clásico, both teams were scoreless at 0-0 in the first half. However, in the second half, Barcelona demonstrated complete dominance. Lewandowski scored twice, while Yamal and Raphinha each added a goal, helping the Blaugrana secure a 4-0 victory over the Galácticos away from home.
This is the fifth time in Barcelona’s history that they have defeated Real Madrid by at least four goals away from home. In 1974, Barcelona achieved a historic 5-0 victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabéu, which remains their largest win at the stadium. The other four instances all occurred in this century: in 2009, Barcelona won 6-2 away; in 2015, they won 4-0 away; and in 2022, they again secured a 4-0 victory away.
To this day, in Spain’s El Clásico, Barcelona has once again left a painful memory for Real Madrid at the Bernabéu.
