On June 13, in the ongoing FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League held in Fukuoka, Japan, the United States women’s volleyball team emerged victorious over the Netherlands with a clean sweep of 3-0. As a result, regardless of the outcome of the remaining matches in the tournament, neither the Netherlands nor Canada will surpass China in world ranking points, thereby securing China’s spot in the Paris Olympics.

Since making their Olympic debut in 1984, including the upcoming Paris Games, the Chinese women’s volleyball team has qualified for the Olympics for an impressive eleven consecutive times. Over the past ten Olympic appearances, they have claimed three gold medals (1984, 2004, 2016), one silver (1996), and two bronze medals (1988, 2008).
