TYC: Ramos Will Not Join Boca Juniors - Club's Foreign Player Quotas Are Full

According to TYC, the rumors of Ramos joining Boca Juniors are not true because the club’s foreign player quotas are already full. If Boca Juniors were to sign Ramos, the team might face relegation.

In Spanish social media, Ramos reached out to Riquelme and Gago, expressing his desire to join Boca Juniors. After parting ways with Sevilla, Ramos has been a free agent. According to Spanish media reports, Ramos has been exploring the possibility of joining Boca Juniors at the end of the year. There are even claims that Boca Juniors has offered Ramos a contract worth 5 million euros per year, although this is significantly lower than the 11 million euros he earned annually at Sevilla.

However, Boca Juniors have stated that the club will not be in contact with Ramos, as their current number of foreign players is already at the limit. If they were to sign Ramos, Boca Juniors could face the risk of relegation. It is worth noting that in a previous conversation with Spanish internet personality Ibai Lano, Ramos said, “I have always preferred Boca over River Plate. If I had to choose one, it would be Boca. I like it more because of Maradona, Riquelme, and La Bombonera.”
