Dortmund has suffered two consecutive losses, with a 2-5 defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League followed by a 1-2 loss to Augsburg in the Bundesliga. According to the latest news from German Sky Sports, Dortmund’s head coach, Nuri Şahin, is not at risk of being sacked.
German Sky reports that despite falling to seventh place in the league after Saturday’s loss to Augsburg, the club currently has no plans to change managers. Şahin took over as Dortmund’s new head coach in June 2024, succeeding Marco Rose, and signed a three-year contract. Both Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke and sporting director Sebastian Kehl continue to fully support Şahin.
