In the first round of Group B matches, Spain defeated Croatia 3-0, while Italy overturned the game to beat Albania 2-1. In the upcoming second round, these two teams will face off in a highly anticipated clash. As per the official UEFA Euro announcement, the referee for this match will be Slavko Vincic from Slovenia, who previously officiated the group stage match between Hungary and Switzerland.

Vincic also served as the main referee in the UEFA Champions League final this season.
