The official announcement has been made by Atlético Nacional de Medellín, a team in the Colombian league, that they have signed Colombian international goalkeeper David Ospina.
The 35-year-old Ospina joined Al-Nassr FC from Napoli in the summer of 2022. However, due to injuries, he made only 27 appearances for the Saudi Arabian side over two seasons, keeping 14 clean sheets.
With his contract with Al-Nassr FC expiring at the end of the season, Ospina has chosen to return to Atlético Nacional on a free transfer, marking a comeback to the Colombian league after a 16-year absence.
