Last month, Championship club Blackburn officially signed Japanese forward Yuki Ohashi from Sanfrecce Hiroshima. After joining the team, Ohashi quickly integrated and scored a goal in each of the three games of the new season, making him the second player in Blackburn’s history to score in three consecutive games as a new signing.
The last time a Blackburn player achieved this feat was 73 years ago, when the club’s legendary striker Bill Holmes scored in his first five games after joining the team in the 1951-52 season.
This weekend, Blackburn will host Oxford United at home in the league, and the club also expressed hope that Ohashi can continue his good form and score in four consecutive games.
