July 5 – According to BBC Sport journalist Nizaar Kinsella, Italian Serie A club AC Milan are looking to sign Brazilian full-back Emerson. The Rossoneri are prepared to pay £10 million, but Tottenham have rejected the offer, deeming it too low.
The 25-year-old, who has previously played for Barcelona and Real Betis, joined Spurs in 2021 for a transfer fee of €25 million. Last season, he made 24 appearances for Tottenham, starting 13 games and scoring one goal. However, he did not make Brazil’s squad for the Copa America. Currently, his market value on Transfermarkt is €18 million.
