Prior information from the German newspaper Bild indicated that both Bayern Munich and Barcelona were interested in signing Leverkusen’s central defender Jonathan Tah in the final stages of the transfer window.
However, Leverkusen rejected all transfer offers, leading Tah’s agent, Zahavi, to speak out and put pressure on the club: “Tah wants to leave Leverkusen. In recent weeks, the club has received several offers, all of which have been turned down. None of us want to see Tah leave the team as a free agent next summer, which is why we hope to find a solution that satisfies all parties as soon as possible.”
