Badminton Men’s Doubles Final: Liang-Wang Duo Claims Silver After Close Defeat

In the first game, the Lee Yang/Wang Chi-lin pair took an early lead, establishing an advantage at 4-1. Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang struggled to catch up and eventually overtook their opponents with a score of 12-11. However, Lee Yang/Wang Chi-lin adjusted their strategy and pulled ahead once more. Ultimately, Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang lost the first game with a score of 17-21.

In the second game, Lee Yang/Wang Chi-lin seized the initiative again, leading 4-1. Liang Weikeng/Wang Chang managed to level the score several times but were unable to take the lead. In the latter part of the game, the Liang-Wang duo overtook their opponents with a score of 19-18 and secured a game point. They capitalized on their first game point opportunity without hesitation, winning the second game 21-18 and tying the match at 1-1.

In the deciding game, the Liang-Wang duo continued to battle fiercely, taking the lead at 7-5 after building an advantage. However, they failed to extend their lead and were overtaken by their opponents at 9-10, falling behind by four points. In the end, the Liang-Wang duo lost the deciding game 19-21, losing the match 1-2 to Lee Yang/Wang Chi-lin and securing the silver medal in this event.
