On August 4th, in the Badminton Men’s Doubles final at the Paris Olympics, the Chinese pair of Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang faced off against the Chinese Taipei pair of Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin.
In the first game, the Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin duo took an early lead, establishing an advantage with a score of 4-1. Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang fought hard to catch up and eventually overtook their opponents with a score of 12-11. However, Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin made adjustments and widened the gap once again. In the end, Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang lost the first game with a score of 17-21.
In the second game, Lee Yang and Wang Chi-Lin seized the initiative once more, leading 4-1. Liang Weikeng and Wang Chang managed to level the score several times but were unable to take the lead. In the latter part of the game, the Liang-Wang pair overtook their opponents with a score of 19-18 and then secured a game point. Facing their first game point, the Liang-Wang pair capitalized on the opportunity without hesitation, winning the second game 21-18 and tying the overall score at 1-1.
