On July 17th, according to the latest news from Fabrizio Romano, there are less than 24 hours remaining before Spanish national team captain Alvaro Morata’s transfer to AC Milan. The 31-year-old Atletico Madrid forward has already determined his future after recently winning the European Championship.
This Spanish striker has played for teams such as Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Chelsea in the top five leagues. In most of his press conferences upon joining these clubs, he has expressed that it was his “dream” to play for them.
“My dream is to join Juventus,” this was his statement when he transferred to Juventus in 2014;
After returning to Real Madrid in 2016, his post-match remarks changed to “for years, my dream was to join Real Madrid”;
In an interview in 2017, Morata frankly said, “my childhood dream was to score a goal for Chelsea one day”;
At the press conference following his €18 million loan return to Atletico Madrid in 2019, the Spanish captain didn’t miss the opportunity to express his dreams, “my childhood dream was to play for Atletico Madrid”;
