On July 30, in the just-concluded Round of 16 match of the women’s singles table tennis event at the Paris Olympic Games, Tokyo Olympic defending champion Chen Meng, after losing the first set, won four consecutive sets and ultimately defeated Swedish chopper Bergstrom 4-1 to advance to the Round of 16.
