According to ESPN, Los Angeles Dodgers’ star player Shohei Ohtani is expected to play in the World Series Game 3 against the Yankees despite a shoulder injury.
In Game 2 yesterday, during the bottom of the seventh inning, Ohtani injured his shoulder while attempting a stolen base and subsequently left the game. However, subsequent diagnosis revealed that his injury was not serious. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts also stated in an interview that Ohtani is currently in good condition and is expected to play tomorrow.
The Dodgers currently lead the World Series with a 2-0 overall score. Game 3 will take place at the Yankees’ home field on October 29th at 8:08 AM.
