On September 21, former Manchester United’s meritorious manager Ferguson expressed in an interview that he misses the time when he was coaching.
Ferguson talked about his life after retirement: “I’m doing well. I’ve been retired for eleven years and have found ways to adapt to this kind of life. But sometimes, I still miss the days of coaching.”
Ferguson revealed that he has continued to follow football after his retirement: “In my first year of retirement, I went to watch the Champions League final on-site. Since then, I’ve watched most of the Champions League finals because I find some things resonate with me.”
Ferguson spoke about his late wife Cathy: “We spent 58 long years together. She was a great wife, mother, and also a great great-grandmother.”
Ferguson indicated that he is still in good condition: “I am 82 years old, so I do worry about my health. Currently, my memory is still good, but I don’t know if I can maintain this state. After retiring, I read a lot of books and did many memory tests.”
