According to French media Foot Mercato, former Danish international Nielsen will be detained for four weeks due to theft.
The 36-year-old Nielsen, who has previously played for teams such as Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano, has made three appearances for the Danish national team. In 2020, he joined the Danish fifth-tier team Vaerebro BK and has been playing there since.
It is reported that Nielsen was arrested after committing theft at a local supermarket. The stolen goods amounted to 176 Danish kroner (approximately 200 RMB), including a bottle of wine, some juice, and an instant soup. As a result, he will be detained for four weeks until October 31st.
