According to French outlet RMC Sport, the total prize money for this edition of the European Championship is €331 million, with a minimum of €9.25 million for each of the 24 participating teams, and the champion set to claim up to €28.25 million.
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has confirmed that, similar to Euro 2021, the teams competing in Euro 2024 will share a €331 million pot. Each of the 24 teams will initially receive €9.25 million. Additional bonuses will be awarded based on their performance in the tournament.
A victory in the group stage earns an extra €1 million, while a draw nets €0.5 million. Advancing to the Round of 16 adds €1.5 million, quarterfinal qualification brings €2.5 million. Progressing to the semifinals earns another €4 million, and reaching the final adds €5 million. The winner will receive an additional €8 million, making the total potential earnings for the champion €28.25 million.
The specific prize money allocation is as follows:
① €9.25 million for each participating team;
② €1 million extra per group win / €0.5 million extra per group draw;
③ €1.5 million extra for advancing to the Round of 16;
④ €2.5 million extra for advancing to the quarterfinals;
⑤ €4 million extra for advancing to the semifinals;

RMC Sport reports that should France emerge victorious, 30% of the total prize money will be distributed to Didier Deschamps’ squad. This would mean an average of €297,368 per player.
