On August 6, German equestrian athlete Christian Kukuk, riding his horse Checker, claimed the gold medal in the individual jumping competition at the Paris Olympics. Post the event, he expressed special gratitude towards Bayern Munich player Müller, as it was his horse that Müller had gifted him.
It has been revealed that the horse Checker, on which Kukuk won the gold, is jointly owned by Müller and German entrepreneur Madeleine Winter-Schulze. Kukuk expressed his appreciation towards them post the event.
Kukuk said, “We must not forget that Thomas Müller and Schulze played a significant role in this success, as they are the co-owners of Checker. They gave me the opportunity to continue riding and ensured it wouldn’t be sold. I am very grateful to them, and today I can return their trust.”
