Ahead of the Premier League match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou revealed that Son Heung-min is likely to miss the game due to an injury sustained during the midweek Europa League match.
Ange Postecoglou revealed that he has not yet communicated with Son Heung-min, “He told me he was feeling a bit tired. I have not yet spoken to him or the medical team.”
During the pre-match press conference, Postecoglou once again discussed Son Heung-min’s situation, “I don’t think his condition is too bad. He wants to participate in tomorrow’s training. We need to see how he does in training before making a decision. We still have time to observe.”
Son Heung-min started in the midweek Europa League match against Qarabag but did not play the full game, being substituted off in the 71st minute for Kai Havertz. Despite having one player sent off early in the game, Tottenham secured a 3-0 victory in their Europa League opener with a 10-man effort.
