Recently, Jimmy Hasselbaink, in an interview with “Lucky Block,” stated that Manchester City’s performance this season is not as strong as it used to be, and Arsenal and Liverpool should seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win the Premier League.
He said, “I believe Arsenal and Liverpool are very eager to become Premier League champions, and this year is the best chance. I have been closely watching Manchester City, and I think their overall strength is not as good as in the past few seasons. Especially their home game against Fulham last month shocked me. Fulham played a great match, controlling the ball for long periods. I remember how Manchester City used to perform at their peak; if they lost possession, they would always regain it in the shortest time possible. You couldn’t control the ball freely in front of them. Their pressing was always spot-on.”
He continued, “I don’t know if other teams have gotten stronger or if they have weakened. I think it’s the latter. They have Haaland, whose pressing is not as intense. Even though Manchester City is currently leading the league and remains unbeaten, I still believe their strength is not what it used to be.”
