According to the BBC, Manchester City has been fined £2.09 million for delaying kick-off times on 22 occasions, in violation of Premier League rules.
At the pre-match press conference before the game against Chelsea, when asked about this penalty, Guardiola said, “I just saw this news. I will try to make my halftime speeches as brief as possible.”
Additionally, Guardiola mentioned that Haaland, who had been suffering from muscle soreness, is feeling much better now, and they hope he can play for a few minutes.
However, Guardiola declined to comment on rumors regarding Atlético Madrid’s interest in Alvarez, who is currently participating in the Olympics with Argentina. After Argentina lost to France, they were eliminated and will not advance to the semi-finals.
The friendly match between Man City and Chelsea will take place on August 4th at 5:30 AM.
