According to Spanish outlet Diario Sport, Real Madrid has recently reached a deal with Argentine teenage midfielder Franco Mastantuono, who currently plays for River Plate.
Mastantuono was born in August 2007 and is yet to turn 17. He is a left-footed player who operates as an attacking midfielder and on the right wing.
It is understood that Real Madrid has agreed on contract terms with the youngster. Mastantuono’s current contract includes a release clause of €45 million, but given that it expires at the end of 2026, Madrid will negotiate a transfer fee with River Plate, and discussions are reportedly progressing smoothly.
Previously, Mastantuono has also caught the attention of other European powerhouses like Barcelona, Manchester United, and Manchester City.
