Morata: My fondest Euro memory is Torres’ goal against Germany

Morata: My fondest Euro memory is Torres' goal against Germany

On June 21, in Group B of the European Championship, Spain will face Italy.

Before the match, Spanish captain Alvaro Morata, in an interview, revealed that his goal celebration is inspired by his childhood idol, Fernando Torres.

Morata shared, “My most beautiful Euro memory is undoubtedly Torres’ goal against Germany. I remember watching it with my friends and family, wearing Torres’ jersey – I think my cousin still has a picture of that moment. That’s why I often emulate his celebrations. It was my first experience of Euros as a fan, and those childhood memories are unforgettable. Later, of course, I played in the tournament too, and you know how significant that is, but those youthful moments are indelible.”
