Juventus has officially announced that the team has completed a contract extension with 20-year-old winger Mbangula, with the new deal set to run until June 2028.
The official statement from Juventus notes that this extension is further recognition of Mbangula’s development at the club.
Mbangula transferred to Juventus in the summer of 2020. During his four years in the Juventus youth academy, he made 5 appearances for the U17 team, 57 for the youth squad, and played in 7 UEFA Youth League matches, scoring a total of 12 goals and providing 5 assists.
Last season, Mbangula joined the Juventus first team, where his outstanding performances convinced Thiago Motta, leading to his promotion to the senior squad during the summer pre-season preparations. In the new season, Mbangula has made 4 appearances for Juventus, contributing 1 goal and 2 assists, showing very promising form.
