Youth training coach João Paulo revealed details of the transfer terms between Endrick and Real Madrid in an interview, including bonuses for goals and assists. For every five goals Endrick scores, Palmeiras receives 1.5 million euros.
Palmeiras can receive up to 72 million euros in transfer fees from Endrick’s move, though 25 million of this is variable, linked to Endrick’s goals, assists, and his inclusion in the Brazilian national team.
Part of this includes Palmeiras receiving an additional 1.5 million euros for every five goals Endrick scores, though there is a cap on this clause. Additionally, when Endrick makes his debut for the Brazilian national team, Palmeiras will receive an extra 1.5 million euros.
João Paulo also disclosed that Palmeiras will not receive any additional rewards if Endrick wins the Ballon d’Or in the future.
João Paulo further revealed how Real Madrid ultimately secured Endrick’s transfer, “Madrid has a scouting team in Brazil. Although Chelsea and other teams once brought Endrick’s father to London, upon seeing the interest from Real Madrid, Endrick eventually chose to join the Spanish club.”
