August 3 – According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal has today rejected the latest offer from Marseille for Eddie Nketiah.
Marseille’s latest bid is said to have reached €27 million, but Arsenal believes this figure is not enough to let Nketiah leave. Romano states that Marseille has already agreed on personal terms with Nketiah, but they have not yet reached an agreement with Arsenal.
The 25-year-old forward, Eddie Nketiah, graduated from Chelsea’s youth academy and joined Arsenal U18 on a free transfer in 2015. He made his first-team debut in 2019 and has since played 132 games for Arsenal, scoring 31 goals and providing 7 assists. His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is €30 million.
