Şahin: Despite Key Absences, Dortmund Eager to Extend Home Winning Streak

On the evening of November 1, Dortmund head coach Şahin attended the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Leipzig.

Concerning the current injury crisis, Şahin believes: “With ten players out due to injuries, this is truly an unprecedented disaster. However, we will overcome this challenge, and things will surely improve. We remain committed to our beliefs and will not make excuses.”

Şahin called for support from the fans: “Tomorrow’s match, more than ever, we need the support of the fans. I believe they will understand our situation. We are eager to extend our home winning streak.”

Finally, Şahin reaffirmed the team’s determination: “The current situation is very difficult, with consecutive losses, elimination from the cup, and a long list of injured players. Everything is very bad. However, we will still field our strongest lineup for the match.”
