The Indonesian men’s national football team will face Saudi Arabia and Australia in the 18-team World Cup qualifiers in early September. Indonesia’s head coach, Shin Tae-yong, has already confirmed that he will call up 26 players for the 18-team qualifiers in September, including 14 who play in overseas leagues and are naturalized players.
The squad list is expected to be announced shortly, followed by the team gathering on August 29th to prepare for the matches against Saudi Arabia on September 6th and Australia on September 10th.
In the previous round of 36 teams, Indonesia successfully defeated Vietnam twice, surpassing them to advance as the second-place finisher in their group.
