According to the Tianjin Daily, after advancing to the quarterfinals of the Chinese FA Cup by defeating Changchun Yatai, Tianjin Jinmen Hu held a recovery training session yesterday evening at the Olympic Sports Center Stadium in preparation for their away game against Beijing Guoan this Sunday.
The media noted that while winning is always a joyous occasion, the team expended more energy than anticipated. On July 21st, the Tianjin Jinmen Hu will travel to Beijing for an advanced fixture of the 24th round of the league against Beijing Guoan. The team’s top priority over the next two days will be to fully recover their physical strength and prepare for the upcoming tough match.
Hadas will be suspended for this round due to receiving a red card in the previous match. Before the transfer window closed on July 15th, Tianjin Jinmen Hu withdrew Grant from their registration list and added newly signed Brazilian foreign player Silva. However, with the long journey from Brazil to complete his visa formalities, Silva will not officially join the team before the match against Beijing Guoan. Therefore, for this game, Tianjin Jinmen Hu will only have three foreign players available: Kompanyo, Ademi, and Škorjić.
It is understood that the team will continue their normal training in Tianjin tomorrow and then travel to Beijing in the evening without arranging any adaptation training sessions at the venue.
