J2 League club Yamagata Yamadera has officially announced that their key center-back Kiyoyasu Nishimura has suffered a metatarsal fracture and will be sidelined for five months, effectively ending his season.
The club stated that Nishimura was injured during training on the 3rd of this month and was subsequently diagnosed with a fifth metatarsal fracture, causing him to miss the team’s league match against Yamaguchi Raifa this round.
