CFMOTO rider Alonso dominated the Moto3 Italian Grand Prix. He topped free practice, FP1, FP2, qualifying, and the main race, setting a new track record at Mugello six times, maintaining his tradition of winning and breaking records. In qualifying, despite Ivan Ortola’s efforts to draft behind Alonso for the fastest lap, Alonso unleashed a 1:54.194 in Q2’s final lap, leaving no chance for Ortola, securing his fourth pole of the season! Teammate Joel Esteban had an error in Q1’s last lap, starting from 19th on the grid for Sunday’s race.

In Sunday’s race, Alonso, starting from pole, maintained his lead and led the Moto3 field. Despite a red flag interruption and a restart, Alonso remained at the forefront of the first group. With four laps to go, he surged ahead, creating a half-second gap to the second-place rider. Alonso held off intense pressure in the closing laps to secure his fifth victory of the season! Esteban finished a solid 18th.

In Moto2, due to the Moto3 red flag, the Italian GP was shortened from 19 to 12 laps. CFMOTO Aspar Team’s Izan Guevara achieved his best result so far, starting 13th and finishing 8th, just three seconds behind the winner. Jake Dixon, another CFMOTO rider, started 15th and secured 12th place, earning points for the team.

After this round, Alonso leads the riders’ championship by 37 points. In the manufacturers’ and teams’ standings, CFMOTO continues to dominate with a 30-point advantage over second place. Chinese manufacturer CFMOTO remains atop all the classification leaderboards.
