Jakarta – Repsol Honda officially launched its new motorcycle for the MotoGP 2023 on Wednesday, February 22nd. The team presents a new RC213V with a traditional livery.
Citing the latest tweet from the Repsol Honda Team, the Japanese manufacturer maintains its basic concept and colors with not much difference. Orange, red, and the signature Repsol hues continue to dominate their RC213V race bikes.
Although there are no significant changes in the bike’s details and color combinations, something different can be seen on the RC213V’s legs. The Japanese factory team introduces a bold look with fiery red alloy wheels.

This change has been welcomed by Repsol Honda’s flagship rider, Marc Marquez. He expressed his eagerness to ride the latest RC213V on the track.
“The bike looks great again this year! I’m really looking forward to riding full colors with the Repsol Honda Team at the Portugal test,” said Marc Marquez, as quoted on the team’s official website.
“We still have some work to do, but the technicians in Japan are working hard. I want to keep working and start the season feeling healthy and ready to race,” he added.
For this season, Repsol Honda pairs Marc Marquez with Joan Mir to achieve maximum goals.
Not only in the riders’ lineup, but Repsol Honda has also seen significant changes in several key positions. One of them is the Technical Manager role, now filled by former Suzuki Ecstar executive Ken Kawauchi, replacing Takeo Yokoyama.
“It’s great to be with the whole Repsol family, who have been with me and the team for a long time. This will be an important test in Portimão,” said Kawauchi.
