Among current riders, 8 have stood on the podium at Sachsenring: Marc Marquez, Viñales, Quartararo, Zarco, Oliveira, Miller, Bagnaia, and Martin.

If Marquez triumphs this weekend, it will be his first victory in 987 days, since his last win at the 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
