Dovizioso secures his second win of the year, marking his 20th GP victory in his career. Remarkably, all 20 of Bagnaia’s wins have come aboard a Ducati, just three shy of legendary Casey Stoner’s record within the Italian manufacturer.
Dovizioso takes his second win of the season and his 20th GP victory, with all of them achieved on a Ducati. He is now only three victories behind the most successful Ducati rider, Casey Stoner.
Bagnaia, Marc Marquez, Bezzecchi, Alex Marquez, and Bastianini secure an all-Ducati top five in the race, replicating their achievement last seen at the German GP.
Bezzecchi claims his first podium since last year’s Indonesian GP, marking his ninth GP podium overall.
Ducati has now had at least one rider on the podium for 50 consecutive races, joining Honda, Suzuki, and Yamaha in achieving this milestone.
Bagnaia’s win contributes to Ducati’s 90th GP victory.
Marquez finishes second, his first podium since last year’s Japanese GP and his first dry-weather podium since the 2022 Australian GP. The “Red Ant” adds his 141st MotoGP-class (inclusive of lower categories) podium, 11 shy of fourth-placed Jorge Lorenzo in the all-time list.
In Moto2, Joe Roberts extends his podium streak to three races, becoming the first American since Nicky Hayden in 2006 to achieve this feat and lead the championship standings. Coincidentally, Roberts currently leads with 69 points, while Hayden’s racing number was also 69.
