Zhou Guanyu says: Hoping for a perfect finale to the season, ideally with a higher ranking!

After another weekend without points, Chinese Formula 1 driver Zhou Guanyu of the Alfa Romeo F1 Team looks back on the season and ahead to the upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He expresses his desire to end the season on a high note, preferably improving the team’s position in the standings. However, while aspirations are positive, for Alfa Romeo, maintaining their position ahead of the Haas F1 Team is already a challenging task given their current race pace.

Zhou comments, “The memories of preparing for the season opener are still fresh, but now we’re already at the final race week. As my second F1 season nears its end, I’m proud of the progress and growth I’ve made this year. It’s unfortunate that we haven’t achieved our expected results, but there’s one more race left to push for a better position in the standings and finish the season strong, setting a positive tone for next year.”

Looking forward to the closing battle, Zhou adds, “Even though I didn’t manage to improve my position significantly in Las Vegas, I fought hard on track. Our direct competitors also failed to score points, so the fight isn’t over yet. The whole team is fully prepared and determined to improve our position in the Constructors’ Championship – if we can achieve that, it would be a decent conclusion to the season, not just for the hardworking crew at Hinwil factory, but also for our dedicated fans who have supported us throughout the year.”
