Last year at Wimbledon marked Bu Yunchaokete’s Grand Slam debut. However, due to multiple infections, he was unable to give his all in his “Grand Slam maiden appearance,” bowing out in the first round of the qualifiers.

Despite not securing a win on grass this season, Bu Yunchaokete defeated France’s Arterm, who he had previously lost to twice, to notch up his first Wimbledon victory and his second overall Grand Slam win. He will next face former world No. 39 Albert.

It was at last year’s Wimbledon Qualifiers that Bai secured three consecutive victories to make her Grand Slam main draw debut and claimed her first Grand Slam main draw win, instantly gaining recognition. Wei Shijia will take on Lithuanian Mikuškaitė, Ma Yexin will play against Parissas, while You Xiaodi’s first-round opponent is the 14th seed Zidansek.
