The 2024 WTA 500 Berlin draw is out, with Chinese player Zheng Qwen entering as the 6th seed and set to face Naomi Osaka in the first round. Coco Gauff headlines the lineup, along with Sabalenka, Halep, and Pegula, who all receive first-round byes. Sakkari will open against Azarenka, while Kerber takes on Noskova. Wang Xinyu, another Chinese player, competes as the 4th seed in the qualifying draw.

The WTA Berlin main draw will be held from June 17 to 23, with a total prize money of €802,237 and the singles champion earning 500 WTA points and €123,480. The defending champion is Czech veteran Petra Kvitova, who defeated Vekic 6-2, 7-6(6) for her sixth grass title and 31st career WTA singles crown. However, Kvitova is not participating this year due to pregnancy.
